This Is Not a Love Song. Directed by Bille Eltringham. Written by Simon Beaufoy. We developed this aggressive cross-plaform campaign in order to capture the rebellious nature of this low budget DV feature. ‘This is not a Love Song’ is widely known as a landmark event in distribution becoming the world’s first simultaneous online and cinematic release of a film.
The website humanises the process of ordering and viewing a film online whilst maintaining the cutting edge look and feel of the film and campaign as a whole.
An integral part of the project was a highly acclaimed poster/flyer/t-shirt campaign which created unprecedented press attention for the film and was a massive talking point amongst the festival circuit.
People queued up after previews to ask for the posters.
